Launches Ultimate GMAT Resource Blog

(firmenpresse) - HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 06/05/12 -- , one of the nation's leading test prep authorities, has launched , a blog dedicated to all things GMAT that will start by helping students understand and prepare for changes to the GMAT that become effective June 5, 2012.

The GMAT Project currently has more than 70 posts providing information about GMAT changes, GMAT-focused admissions issues and MBA Programs.

"We know applying to business school can be difficult, and the GMAT is tough enough to prepare for without having to deal with changes," TestMasters President and Class Director Roger Israni said. "We want applicants to understand the changes to the exam and know that the test might even be easier for some people."

The GMAT's evolution maintains much of the old test, but adds a new section and several new question types. The new section will consist of four new types of questions: graphics interpretation, table analysis, two-part analysis and multi-source reasoning.

New GMAT exam results will remain the same, but test takers will be given an independent 1-8 integrated reasoning score. It also halves the number of essays in the analytical writing section to one.

TestMasters offers classroom, one-on-one, online and custom courses for the GMAT.

TestMasters has two other blogs: , a resource for the GRE and graduate school admissions, and , which offers college admissions and test prep guidance to high school students. TestMasters is also highly active in social media, maintaining a page and a feed as consistent sources of information.

TestMasters, founded in 1991, provides test preparation for major admissions exams and certifications, including the SAT, PSAT, , GRE, LSAT, ISEE, HSPT, ACT, PE and EIT. TestMasters students return consistently high scores on standardized tests, sometimes turning in historically impressive results. The company operates in all 50 states and has expanded internationally with book sales, classroom courses and online courses.
