Kira McManus and Mike Darby have both joined FORTRUST's staff in order to enhance the Sales and Facilities Departments respectively.
Kira McManus re-joins FORTRUST as the Director of Business Development/Channel Sales. She has over 23 years of enterprise Sales, Management, and Channel Management experience with a strong focus on technology and complex sales including DR/BIA/BC, Recovery Services, Software, Consulting Services, Colocation, Managed Services, Cloud and Cloud Computing IaaS. Additionally, she sits on the Board of Directors for the Denver Telecom Professionals Organization. Kira has extensive management experience in the areas of business development and channel sales from her past positions at SunGard Availability Services, National CineMedia, Qwest and Inflow. Kira graduated with a B.A. Double Major - Psychology/Communications from DePauw University, Dean's List. She has also been a Public Speaking Instructor for the Dale Carnegie Course in Chicago, IL.
Mike Darby joined FORTRUST in April 2012. In his role as Data Center Facilities Supervisor, he is responsible for the overall supervision of the facilities team which maintains the Critical Systems Infrastructure including electrical distribution, cooling, building management and essential ancillary systems of the Datacenter and facility. Prior to FORTRUST, Mike taught mathematics and statistics as a faculty member at BYU-Idaho and completed a 24-year tenure in the United States Navy where he served in both enlisted and officer roles such as Navigator, Operations Officer, Engineer, Main Propulsion Assistant and Quality Assurance Officer on nuclear powered submarines. Mike has a Master's degree in Operations Research from Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering from Oregon State University.
