Top San Diego Marketers Compete for Top Honors
The San Diego Chapter of the American Marketing Association Presents Their Annual American Marketer of the Year Award
(firmenpresse) - SAN DIEGO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/08/12 -- Dozens of some of the most important companies in San Diego will be competing at the 2012 American Marketer of the Year (AMY) Awards this June. The awards include honors for integrated marketing campaigns, social marketing, direct mail, mobile marketing and the top honor of Marketer of the Year among others. A panel of national experts will choose winners and awards will be handed out at the awards ceremony on June 27, 2012 at the Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park.
"There is so much talent in San Diego," says Kathy Townend, president of SDAMA. "We are proud to acknowledge and celebrate the great work and fantastic accomplishments of marketers in the region."
The awards ceremony also features keynote speaker Erik Hawkins, client partner, Global Marketing Solutions of Facebook. He will be discussing how marketers can make more authentic, effective, long-term connections with customers.
