Electric vehicles are on the fast lane – at least as long as their batteries are charged! The Schletter P-CHARGE Wallbox Duo makes sure that they are. The basic design of his state-of-the-art and robust charging station has two type-2 charging outlets that can be controlled separately. The Wallbox Duo works in charging mode 3 and allows a charging with alternating current and high power (11/22 kW). This safeguards short charging times which in turn promotes the general tendency towards electric vehicles.

The basic design of his state-of-the-art and robust charging station has two type-2 charging outlets that can be controlled separately. The Wallbox Duo works in charging mode 3 and allows a charging with alternating current and high power (11/22 kW). This safeguards short charging times which in turn promotes the general tendency towards electric vehicles.
The core piece of the Wallbox Duo is the P-CHARGE EWS-Box which is a real all-rounder. This charging device adapts the charging processes to the vehicles, and if the charging cable is damaged, the charging process is stopped automatically in order to avoid short circuits or cable fires. The EWS-Box has a brain of its own! RFID card readers, displays or notebooks can be connected to the two serial interfaces. By means of the LAN-Bus/Ethernet, the EWS-Box can be integrated into networks, can be controlled conveniently and can be configured individually. This makes local load management possible - a decisive precondition for an integration into smart grids.
Technicians and designers have developed this charging station in close cooperation. The ABS plastic body that is manufactured in twin-sheet design is not only robust but also visually attractive. Three illuminated LED buttons allow a self-explanatory operating of the charging outlets. Beyond that, Manfred Resch´s research and development team also focussed on details like integrated ventilation ducts and convenient access for service technicians. The Wallbox Duo can be installed easily in a few work steps. Just like all other Schletter products, it is a thoroughly elaborated product! But Mr. Resch and his staff think even further: More P-CHARGE designs are planned for other areas of application. There will be a special design for home charging, for example.
