Savant Explorations Ltd. AGM: Michael Casselman Elected to the Board
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/11/12 -- Savant Explorations Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: SVT) ("Savant") recently held its 2012 Annual General Meeting ("AGM") in Vancouver. Resolutions passed at the meeting included the re-appointment of DeVissor Gray as auditors, approval of Savant's incentive stock option plan, and the re-election of John McClintock, David Douglas, Bob McKnight, and Reg Advocaat as Directors.
Also newly elected to the Board was Michael Casselman. Mr. Casselman, has over 35 years of Canadian and international mineral industry experience and is currently a technical advisor for Candente Copper Corp. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia and a Master's of Science from Carleton University.
Mr. Casselman replaces Mr. Eric Tweedie who has retired from the Board. Savant wishes to thank Mr. Tweedie for his role in the startup of Savant and his dedication and efforts on behalf of Savant over the past five years.
