Godfather Media Subsidiary ERA Signs Player to the San Diego Padres

(PINKSHEETS: GFMD) -- Elite Representation Associates, a Godfather Media Inc. subsidiary, is pleased to announce 2012 advisee Matthew Shepherd was drafted by and agreed to a contract with the San Diego Padres. Shepherd is a right-handed pitcher from Tennessee Tech University and he will begin his professional career with the Padres' short-season Single A affiliate Eugene Emeralds.
Tennessee Tech head baseball coach Matt Bragga had this to say about Shepherd, "Shepherd is a guy who got better every season with us and he will continue to do so. He has a high ceiling in terms of ability... We've seen Matt throw upwards of 95 miles per hour. He's going to pitch more 89-92 than 95, but he's a guy who's got a live arm and a very, very good change up."
