3D Geophysical, Inc. to Conduct 1000 Square Mile Bakken Seismic Survey in 3 Phases on Ft. Berthold Reservation
(firmenpresse) - HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 06/12/12 -- Houston based 3D Geophysical has entered into an exclusive agreement with the Three Affiliated Tribes of the Ft. Berthold Reservation, to conduct a 3 Component, 3D seismic survey, covering approximately 1000 square miles of the Ft. Berthold Reservation. The Survey will be divided into 3 Phases, with some phases being conducted simultaneously.
The 3D seismic survey will image the very prolific Bakken Shale and 3 Forks Formation within the Ft. Berthold Reservation, as well as other producing oil formations.
3D Geophysical, Inc. has begun permitting operations for the 3D seismic program, with acquisition of the data for Fall-Winter 2012.
