Vancouver, British Columbia, June 15, 2012 - BonTerra Resources (TSXV:BTR)
(FSE:9BR) has released a NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate for its 100%
owned Eastern Extension gold property in Quebec. Using a 1.0 gram per tonne
cuttoff, the property contains inferred gold resources of 4,337,000 tonnes
grading 3.53 grams per tonne for 492,000 ounces.

This resource estimate, completed by Snowden Mining Industry Consults, is
constrained by geologic domains consisting of 10 vein structures. This mineral
resource estimate includes the results of 12,543 metres of core drilling
completed on the property in 2011. Management believes there is potential for
expansion with further drilling as the existing inferred resource is open to the
northeast, southwest and down dip. The complete technical report will be
available on Sedar.com within 45 days.
The 5,917 metres of drilling that BonTerra completed in 2012, which includes the
Rivage Zone, is not included in the existing inferred resource estimate. There
are assays pending for six holes. The highlight from drilling at the Rivage was
hole BA-12-10, which assayed 73.82 grams per tonne gold over 3.0 metres,
including 1.0 metres of 220.0 grams per tonne gold.
This drill hole at the Rivage was collared approximately 120 metres from the
Rivage discovery outcrop. A chip sample taken from this outcrop of the
mineralized quartz vein in the fall of 2011 assayed 204 grams per tonne gold.

The Eastern Extension property, along with the Lavoie and Urban-Barry gold
properties, are all located in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt, approximately 170
kilometres northeast of Val d'Or, Québec. The Abitibi Greenstone Belt has
historically produced more than 180 million ounces of gold. It has been
primarily associated with altered quartz-carbonate veins mineralized with
sulphides, often visible with gold. Within the Urban-Barry gold camp, there are
2 other gold projects with NI 43-101 compliant resources, that being Metanor's
Barry Deposit, and Eagle Hill's Windfall Lake deposit.
