"Sixtysix - Digital Art" by Peter Pitsch(firmenpresse) - A flood of electrifying sensations!
Between Pop Art, Expressionism and Computer Art. With the art book „Sixtysix - Digital Art“ Peter Pitsch presents a new variation of his artistic work. On the control panel of an creatively image treatment a series of moody pictures was created. In addition to the 66 main images of the collection another 23 graphics were assigned to the respective artwork. Brief associative text passages moreover give the pictures a kind of a personal touch. A combination of lyrical verses and colorful expressive pictures.
Regarding this art book, in the sense of contemporary or applied arts, the term „digital photo art" or „computer-generated art" includes a combination of digital painting and expressive Fotomanipulation. For the most part composed of self-made digital imagery, color combinations and photographs, the overlay images result in poetic collages, that due to their complexity offer insights into the very depth of the structures. Since the different expressions in their supposed opposition form a contrast and because duality, complexity and individual nuances exist, a variation of perspectives can unfold in the eye of the viewer.

Peter Pitsch was born 1963 in Herford. He lived among other in Berlin, Amsterdam, Rome, Copenhagen and Nykøbing. Already as a teenager he wrote poems and short stories. During a long stay in Italy he gained experience as a film actor. Today he lives in Scandinavia and is dedicated to literary writing. In the early nineties he published his first book, followed by several publications. In addition his reviews, poems and prose texts were included in various magazines and anthologies. The artistic breakthrough came in 2008 with the satire „The Cuckoo's Egg Syndrome“. Since then the contemporary poetry book „Wicked Tale“, the autobiographical novel „Into the Unknown“ and the thriller „WORLD“ were released. A book of poetry titled „Presence“ is available since 2012.
