Corso - Ordina combination wins master contract from Dutch ministries
(Thomson Reuters ONE) -
Willemstad (Curaçao)/Nieuwegein, 22 June 2012 - Corso Informatica (Corso), a
100% subsidiary of AamigoO Group N.V., and Ordina have been selected by several
government bodies as preferred supplier of interim ICT personnel. The master
contract is for a period of two years with an option to extend. It has a
potential contract value of ? 130 million.
The contracts involves the following government bodies: The Foreign Affairs
Ministry, The Security and Justice Ministry (V&J), including the central policy
and staff department (BD) and the Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI), the
Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK), the lower house of
parliament, the Government Buildings Agency, Logius, the Ministry of General
Affairs (AZ), and the Council for the Judiciary (RvdR).
"We are proud to have received this contract with Ordina as our partner. Corso
has in recent years invested a great deal in the delivery and expertise process
for government bodies. Gaining the contract is fantastic, but providing the
right services afterwards is the most important thing," says Harm van Echteld,
director of Corso Informatica. "The contract is in line with our growth ambition
as an intermediary, broker and matchmaker. The fact that the participating
government agencies have chosen us fully vindicates our decision to invest in
know-how and experience in the field of mediation and contract management
activities."
"The strength of the combination is the added value of this sourcing contract,"
says Barend de Zoete, director of Professional Services & Projects at Ordina.
"Corso is a specialist in the field of mediation between professionals,
freelancers and clients. We then offer the client continuity of service because
of our know-how and experience in the public sector. This unique combination
means the ministries and other organisations can always count on highly
qualified ICT personnel with extensive knowledge of the public sector."
The government bodies selected Corso because of its expertise in matching self-
employed staff, freelancers and professionals in third-party employment. Ordina
has been selected as subcontractor because of its extensive knowledge of the
public sector and its in-house specialist consultants.
Three other parties are involved in the master contract in addition to Corso and
Ordina. One of these partners will be selected to fill individual interim
vacancies on the basis of the expertise and experience required.
The master contract is for a two-year period with an option to extend the
contract twice for one year each time. We expect the contract to commence as of
1 July 2012.
