Sandvika, June 22, 2012: Bondholders' meetings in each of REC ASA's senior bond
issues, REC01, REC02 and REC03, today approved a change to the bond loan
agreements in accordance with the REC ASA's request of 22 May, 2012. As a
result, REC Wafer Norway AS will resign as guarantor under the bond loan
agreements when REC ASA's banks release it from its guarantee under the current
revolving credit facility or when the guarantee lapses for any reason
whatsoever. REC Wafer Norway AS will also be excluded from the definition of
"Group" in the bond loan agreements going forward.
