BMO Announces Relief Program for Victims of Elliot Lake Mall Collapse

(firmenpresse) - ELLIOT LAKE, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 06/28/12 -- BMO Financial Group today announced a relief program for its customers affected by the collapse of the Algo Centre Mall in Elliot Lake.

"We were heartbroken to see the devastation at the mall and the tragic impact this disaster had on so many lives," said Lloyd Fleming, Vice President, BMO Bank of Montreal. "BMO wants to assist our customers and residents of the community that have been affected. We hope that these initiatives will help alleviate some of the difficulties they face."

Furthermore, anyone who wishes to make a donation to assist those affected by the collapse of the mall in Elliot Lake may do so at any BMO Bank of Montreal branch across Canada. The account number for donations is 8996 667 at Transit # 2404.

"We've always stood behind our customers, through good times and challenging times, and we are ready to assist qualifying BMO personal and business customers by deferring payments on their loans, mortgages or lines of credit," added Mr. Fleming.

Customers who require assistance, are invited to visit the BMO branch at 17 Mary Walk in Elliot Lake.
