18.5-inch (47 cm) HD-ready industrial display with an availability of minimum five years guaranteed

(PresseBox) - Gleichmann Electronics now offers the new G185BGE-L01, 18.5 inch (47 cm) HD-ready industrial display, from Chimei Innolux (CMI). CMI guarantees availability for a minimum of five years from the start of production.
With 160° horizontal and 170° vertical viewing angles, a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, 300 cd/m2 brightness and a high contrast ratio of 1000:1, the G185BGE-L01 high-quality "Industrial Line" TFT module meets the demands in various ranges of applications such as ticket vending machines, point of sale (POS) systems and industrial controls.
The lifetime of the LED backlight till the brightness level of the display falls to half the original level is specified at 50000 hours minimum. Thanks to the integrated LED driver and 24-bit LVDS interface, the G185BGE-L01 can also be easily integrated into existing applications.
The G185BGE-L01 is designed for an operating temperature range from 0°C to +60°C and the power consumption is typically 19.6 W. Samples and design kits are available now. Production quantities of the G185BGE-L01, 18.5-inch (47 cm) HD-ready industrial display, are scheduled to be available from August 2012.
