Golden Tag Appoints New Director
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 07/05/12 -- Golden Tag Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: GOG) (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jamie Levy as a director of the Company. Mr. Levy brings 20 years of financial market experience having worked with Taurus Capital and Byron Securities culminating as Vice-President, Trading and Head Trader with Pinetree Capital Inc responsible for Pinetree's investment portfolio. Mr Levy holds a B.A. in Economics from Concordia University.
Pursuant to this appointment, the Company has granted 250,000 incentive options for a period of 5 years exercisable at a price of $0.22, which is an approximate 19% discount to the Company's closing price of $0.27 on July 4, 2012. The options are subject to regulatory approval and a vesting schedule whereby one-third of the options will vest every six months over an eighteen month period after the date of the grant.
Golden Tag Resources Ltd. is a junior exploration company exploring for high grade gold and silver deposits at the San Diego silver project in Durango State, Mexico; the Aquilon Gold Project in James Bay, Quebec; and the McCuaig gold project in Red Lake, Ontario.
