ID: 163359

(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 07/09/12 -- Long time International Datacasting Corporation ("IDC") shareholder Frank Helt today announced his support for director and former Executive Chairman Adam Adamou and the "Nominees for Positive Change" identified on the Blue Proxy today.

The Circular for Positive Change was filed by IDC Director Adam Adamou and proposes an alternative slate of directors for IDC in connection with IDC's upcoming annual meeting of shareholders to be held on July 31st, 2012 in Kanata, Ontario.

Mr. Helt is a well-known and long standing shareholder of IDC. The Helt family has held shares in International Datacasting since 1997. Mr. Helt is also a portfolio manager at one of North America's pre-eminent wealth management firms, and a number of his clients have also been long standing IDC shareholders.

"We take the future of this company seriously" said Frank Helt. "We explored our alternatives and asked questions of both sides. As part of my due diligence I have had separate discussions with Adam Adamou and IDC management. I have also had discussions with some of the key members of the current IDC board and the alternative Blue Proxy slate. The Circular for Positive Change presents a well thought out and credible strategy for creating shareholder value at IDC. I believe the Nominees for Positive Change on the Blue Proxy represent the best option for moving the business of IDC forward and I hope other shareholders of IDC will share this view."

"We are very pleased to have the support of Frank Helt and the Helt family." said Adam Adamou. "Frank Helt is one of the earliest and largest public shareholders of IDC with connections to IDC shareholders around the world. We are honored to have his support in putting IDC together again."

Full instructions on how to vote for the Nominees for Positive change are set out in the proxy materials filed at and can also be found at . To support the Nominees for Positive Change Only our BLUE proxy and voting instruction form includes the names of the entire director Nominees for Positive Change and other matters to be considered at the meeting.

WE URGE YOU TO IGNORE THE IDC BOARD PROXY OR VOTING INSTRUCTION FORM SENT TO YOU BY IDC AS IT WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO VOTE FOR THE NOMINEES FOR POSITIVE CHANGE.
