Christian Gabrielsen Joins The Lightstone Group as President, Securities Division
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 07/09/12 -- The Lightstone Group, a national real estate developer, announced today the appointment of Christian Gabrielsen as President of the company's Securities Division. Gabrielsen will oversee sales, marketing, and national accounts for Lightstone while continuing to build Lightstone's presence in the market as one of the largest and most successful privately held real estate companies in the United States.
A respected industry veteran, Gabrielsen brings more than two decades of experience raising capital for leading financial services companies in separately managed accounts, variable annuities, and real estate. Gabrielsen was previously Executive Vice President and National Sales Manager at Thompson National Properties. He had a similar role at Knight Capital/Clearbrook Financial where he served as Executive Vice President and National Sales Manager. Prior to that, he served as National Sales Manager at Lincoln Financial where he increased sales from $400 million to over $5 billion per year and managed over 100 wholesalers. Earlier in his career, he served as Senior Vice President at AXA Equitable. Gabrielsen holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont and was an advanced certificate candidate at Harvard University.
