Trident Capital Appoints Gustavo Alberelli as Managing Director
Late-Stage, Growth Equity Experience Complements Trident's Existing Team
(firmenpresse) - PALO ALTO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 07/11/12 -- Trident Capital, a leading venture and venture growth firm focusing on Software, Internet and Business Services companies, today announced Gustavo Alberelli joined the firm as a Managing Director investing in late-stage and growth equity investments. Alberelli joins Trident from Kennet Partners, where he led growth equity investments across the technology sector, typically as the first institutional investor.

Alberelli began his investment career at Trinity Ventures, where he primarily worked with seed and early stage technology companies. His investments include a successful exit at MyPerfectSale (acquired by Sugar, Inc.), and additional investments where he served as Board Director or Observer including, AcademixDirect, Intelepeer, Prolexic Technologies and Revolution Prep.
Prior to becoming an investor, Alberelli held several business development and marketing positions at Saltare, a venture-backed enterprise software company. He began his career as an analyst in the technology investment banking division of Robertson Stephens. Alberelli received an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Swarthmore College where he was a Swarthmore Scholar.
Holly Davidson of Jamesbeck Global Partners conducted the search to recruit Gus on Trident's behalf.
