Last Call for Nominations to UFA Small Town Heroes 2012 Contest
Time is running out to nominate your community's UFA small town hero! Nominations close on July 22
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 07/11/12 -- The countdown is on to nominate a community hero for UFA's Small Town Heroes 2012 Contest! UFA's Small Town Heroes legacy continues with the third annual contest which seeks out and rewards individuals in rural Alberta who go above and beyond for their communities. Nominations can be submitted at and close on Sunday, July 22, 2012.
This year, UFA has raised the stakes, rewarding two grand prize winners with $10,000 each for a winning community project and an exclusive Paul Brandt concert in their home town. Eight runners up will receive $2,500 for their respective community project.
UFA is excited to once again be partnering with Country Music Superstar Paul Brandt who will be hitting the road in October 2012 on the third annual Small Town Heroes bus tour. The bus will make several stops in small towns throughout Alberta for meet and greet opportunities at local UFA Farm and Ranch stores and UFA Petroleum Agencies. Two concerts will take place for the Small Town Heroes contest grand prize winners.
