Joint Venture agreement includes access to a database of more than two million healthcare providers

(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 07/12/12 -- HIT Global, a Canadian continuing medical education (CME) provider, has entered into a joint venture with C-CME, an organization reporting to the Chinese Ministry of Health to offer CME solutions to more than two million Chinese healthcare professionals. The new entity, HIT iMed, will provide PI-CME (performance improvement programs), eCME, e-survey and outcomes measurement services.

For more than 15 years, HIT Global has made use of the latest technologies and adult learning principles to offer the healthcare community in Canada, the US and Europe, innovative, accredited and interactive learning programs that save time, enhance productivity and improve patient outcomes.

"We take pride in the fact that C-CME has chosen HIT Global as its partner based on the high quality of our programs, the user-friendliness of our proprietary technologies and the collaborative relations we enjoy with providers such as universities and professional associations" says Paul Piche, President and Founder of HIT Global.

"Historically, our programs were solely aligned with western-based medicine. With this joint venture, we will need to account for traditional Chinese practices," says Piche. "The possibilities are endless. We can learn so much from each other."

After three years of negotiations, both parties are looking forward to a productive partnership that will not only benefit Chinese healthcare professionals but also improve patient care. HIT iMed will set up their offices in Shanghai.
