Verkehrsbetriebe STI AG Selects Trapeze Group, a Subsidiary of Constellation Software's Volaris Group, for Comprehensive Intelligent Transportation System

(TSX: CSU) today announced that Trapeze Group ("Trapeze"), a subsidiary of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Volaris Group Inc., has signed a significant contract with Verkehrsbetriebe STI AGI ("STI") to provide a comprehensive intelligent transportation system for the Swiss tourist region of Thun.
The Trapeze intelligent transportation system solution for STI includes an integrated operations control, passenger information and business management system to help to achieve efficient fleet management with higher on-time services and optimal vehicle deployment. In addition, the solution enables STI passengers to benefit from more accurate transfers and dynamic real-time information.
Verkehrsbetriebe STI AG makes a significant contribution to public transport in the Bernese Oberland. Its 332.5 kilometre network of routes covers the towns of Thun, Spiez and Interlaken as well as communities around the Lake of Thun and extends up to the gates of the Swiss capital of Berne. Every year, some 80 modern buses move more than 15 million passengers on 24 regular fixed and 7 night-time routes with 369 stops.
