Hundreds of Live Entertainment Executives Gather at Ticketing Conference in Las Vegas, NV
(firmenpresse) - SOUTH WINDSOR, CT -- (Marketwire) -- 07/16/12 -- , the leading conference and trade show for the live entertainment and ticketing industry, recently hosted its 2012 summer conference at Bellagio Resort Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. The three-day event, held July 11-13, 2012 featured a wide range of panel sessions, roundtable discussions, workshops, two Keynote presentations, a concurrent trade show, and a variety of networking sessions.
The audience consisted of more than 600 registrants, including ticketing and from all segments of the industry, from venue managers and sports teams to promoters, marketers, and agencies in the primary and secondary ticketing markets.
The first Keynote session, held Thursday, July 12, featured Catherine Cortez Masto, Nevada Attorney General. The second Keynote session, on Friday, July 13, featured Thom Singer, networking expert and sales trainer.
The panel sessions, roundtable discussions, and workshops covered a variety of topics, including State of the Box Office, Sports Meet, Hang out with Google!, How to Prevent Online Fraud, and more. Speakers included Ken Davenport (Davenport Theatrical), Brandon Gayle (Groupon), Mike Lorenc (Google), Doug Lyons (Tickets.com), and Christopher Willis (Seatwave), among other industry experts.
The concurrent trade show featured more than 30 exhibitors, including BASE Entertainment, Epic Inventory Management, Fan Freedom Project, PowerPay, Transaction Services, United States Postal Service, and many others.
The conference came to a close on Friday, July 13 with its signature Closing Gala held at The Bank nightclub.
