Lindner acoustic floors provide for silent rooms
The known floor systems of the Lindner Group FLOOR and more® and NORTEC are now obtainable with an additional function “acoustic”. Thanks to the high sound absorption values of the perforated floor panels, an audibly improvement of the room acoustics can be achieved.

The reverberation time of the surroundings influences the perception of room acoustics. Depending on the utilization of the room, this should be reduced or actually avoided by a specific choice of materials and area size. An installed acoustic tub on the underside of the floor panel supports the Lindner raised and hollow floors to achieve an absorbance rate αW of up to 0,75. The system thereby reduces not only the sound levels but also the reverberation time in the rooms. Especially for low and high frequencies, the floor systems obtain great sound absorption values. The utilization of insulating material and acoustic fleeces intensifies the deep frequency effect. The perforations of the floor panels enable an ideal usage of the air volume in the space in between as resonance absorber.
The systems FLOOR and more® acoustic and NORTEC acoustic
The raised and hollow floors convince with stability and environmental compatibility. The carrier panels with classification of building material class A1 consist of calcium sulphate, made by a composition of gypsum, premium cellulose fibres and water. For an easy and fast fitting, the edges of FLOOR and more® floor panels are furnished with an interlocking tongue. Sticked together, the floor presents a high load capacity and can be entered already one day after installation.
Functionality in combination with modern design
FLOOR and more® and NORTEC fulfill the increasing requirements for a silent and comfortable atmosphere as well as the possibility for modern design. Due to the varied combination opportunities with other systems, the floor panels offer a high amount of flexibility. Suitable as application on Lindner floors are different textile floor coverings, which are checked in the company’s own sound laboratory.
