Cathay Forest Announces Resignation of Remaining Directors

(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 07/18/12 -- Cathay Forest Products Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: CFZ), by its court-appointed temporary receiver and manager, Duff & Phelps Canada Restructuring Inc. (the "Interim Manager"), announces the following resignations:

Following the resignation of these individuals, there are no remaining directors of the Company. A special meeting of shareholders will be held on July 30, 2012 for the purpose of electing new directors to fill these vacancies.
