Announces First-Ever Box for Windows Phone App; Collaboration With Qualcomm

Box announced the availability of Box for Windows Phone, an entirely new mobile productivity app enabling businesses to collaborate and share essential content from any location. The company is also working closely with Qualcomm to provide special offers on qualified Snapdragon™-based devices, including preloads of Box mobile apps and incentives for increased storage capacity.

The introduction of Box for Windows Phone extends Box's open approach of providing information access across an industry experiencing massive fragmentation. Protect content with an application passcode lock

Snapdragon processors by Qualcomm power more than 370 different mobile devices globally with more than 400 designs in development. Box is offering exclusively to select qualified Qualcomm OEM customers the opportunity to preload Box mobile apps on qualified Android and upcoming Windows 8 devices. The collaboration also extends exclusive storage incentives, including free 50GB of Box, on select Windows 8 and Android-based devices powered by Snapdragon processors. Finally, Box will bundle the top paid Box OneCloud for Android integration partner apps at no cost for these Snapdragon customers.
