BITZER receives large-scale order from Songzhi
(PresseBox) - Traditional cooperation: for more than ten years already, BITZER and the Chinese company Songzhi, based in Shanghai, have been working closely together in the field of bus air conditioning. Just as much of a tradition is the annual meeting between the BITZER Board of Directors and the Songzhi Management, aiming to consolidate future cooperation in an atmosphere of partnership. The last meeting took place at the beginning of April this year - and was a great success: Peter Schaufler, BITZER CEO and Senator h. c., Helmut Meyer, Director Transport Products, and Stephan Luerssen, Managing Director BRT, jointly signed a contract with Chen Fuquan, Chairman of the Board, and Ji Ankang, Managing Director of Songzhi, for a large-scale order for BITZER. Songzhi, a market leader with around 1,000 employees and a market share of more than 75 % in China's bus industry, placed an order with the specialist for refrigeration compressors for 30,000 four-cylinder and six-cylinder BITZER transport compressors. These reciprocating compressors will be mainly used in buses and coaches of the "Beijing Bus Company" and "Golden Dragon" companies.
