AnaTango Welcomes Technology Executive Eric Warren as President
(firmenpresse) - LAGUNA BEACH, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 07/25/12 -- AnaTango announces the appointment of Eric Warren as President. Warren's extensive career has involved leadership through the key growth stages of various technology companies, and significant corporate marketing experience.
As top marketing and business development executive for NextWeb, Inc. he was instrumental in building the wireless ISP, which was sold to Covad for $25 million. Warren has also held executive positions with publicly traded Ascend Communications (purchased by Lucent Technologies for $25 billion) and Octel Communications. He has also served as Managing Director of Sage Venture Partners and Progeny Plus Capital Partners, venture capital firms focused specifically on high technology investments.
AnaTango's CEO, Michael Saddik, says "Eric has served in marketing, business development and operational roles for some of the country's biggest providers. He is joining us as AnaTango prepares to formally launch our ERP software, which we believe is a game changer. Eric will be key in helping guide AnaTango to where we plan to go next."
Saddik and Warren have a strong track record collaborating; they worked together in an annuity subscription model business at both NextWeb and Covad Wireless. Warren brings a unique marketing and public relations background into his work as well. He has participated in the strategic marketing of a range of IT-oriented software companies, and is an advisor to Ooyala -- the fastest-growing SaaS-based online video platform provider. AnaTango's product suite is SaaS, using cloud technology to offer businesses a cost and time-efficient system to access and oversee their most sensitive information and operations.
