PolyRemedy Launches Commercial Scale HealSmart(TM) Wound Care Software and Dressings
Expands Executive Team With Industry Leaders
(firmenpresse) - BOSTON, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 07/26/12 -- PolyRemedy®, a provider of personalized wound care systems, today announced that it has successfully launched the HealSmart PWS™ 2.3 software program to enhance its mobile assessment tools, treatment algorithms and advanced analytics for wounds. The Company has also gone live with its automated manufacturing plant, which provides additional proprietary, personalized HealSmart Antimicrobial Dressing products and supports commercial ramp of the business.

To support further commercialization efforts, PolyRemedy has also expanded its management team. New team members include:
Joel Pickering, Vice President, Marketing. Joel was most recently General Manager of North America for Systagenix, and has a long history of new wound care product launch successes at companies such as Kinetic Concepts, Convatec and LifeCell.
David Kerwar, Vice President, Strategic and Product Marketing. David brings a strong background in health care IT and analytics. He was previously Director of Provider Markets for Trizetto and also had successful roles at McKesson and Broadlane.
Kathy Whittington, Clinical Director. Kathy is a wound care expert with a long track record of success in clinical education and medical affairs at Molnlycke and Kinetic Concepts.
