PDI Expands Power Distribution Sales Force
Company Opens New China Guangdong Office and Strengthens Western U.S. Sales
(firmenpresse) - RICHMOND, VA -- (Marketwire) -- 07/26/12 -- , a Smiths Interconnect business and leading provider of mission-critical equipment for data centers, alternative energy, industrial, and commercial power markets, today announced the company's new China office in Guangdong Province, providing sales and support options to its expanding base of customers within the region.
The new office is located in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China, and will be headed by Mighty Tian. In addition to the new China location, the company also recently announced its new office opening in . Both offices represent a series of strategic moves by PDI to expand its global footprint.
PDI's Vice President of International Sales, Jose Luis Crespo, commented, "With the rapid rise of China as a major force in industry and technology, PDI has long been considering ways to enhance its engagement in the local market. In addition, PDI also announced the expansion of its U.S.-based sales team with the addition of Alexis Stobbe, as the company's new U.S. Sales Director, Western Region. Alexis brings many years of operational, enterprise software sales, and executive leadership consulting experience to the PDI team. He received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and served as a fighter pilot in the U.S. Marine Corps.
