Just in time for the summer travel season, the campaign showcases how Luna Park, operated by Central Amusement International (CAI), as New York City's amusement park, superimposing its thrill-seeking rides in major tourist spots throughout the Big Apple. The TV campaign began airing on July 4, 2012 and will run on demographically and contextually targeted local stations including WNBC, PIX11 and Time Warner Cable, through the end of August.

Illustrating New York City re-imagined as an amusement park, each daring ride featured catches the eye of locals and tourists around the city. CAI built the 3.16-acre Luna Park in just over three months at a cost of more than $15 million, with support from the City of New York, local residents and community organizations, and Coney Island fans throughout the world. The park now features 21 rides by -- the world's leading designer and manufacturer of amusement attractions -- as well as a world-class mix of games, entertainment and food. Among the park's custom-built attractions are a number of Zamperla originals, including Air Race, which made its world debut in 2010 at Coney Island. Other signature rides include the first major rollercoasters in over 80 years, Soaring Eagle and the Steeplechase Coaster, as well as the new Boardwalk Flight and Coney Island Raceway. CAI also operates the legendary 85-year-old Cyclone rollercoaster.
