Q-Sensei Introduces New Deeper, More Personalized Search Capability to Scholars
New Search Engine Allows for “Multi-Dimensional Browsing” of 7 Million Scholarly Datasets

(firmenpresse) - Melbourne, FL – With the goal to provide users with a more efficient way to search and navigate scholarly databases, Q-Sensei has developed a new engine that makes searches
deeper, more convenient, and more precise than other available search tools. The company’s new search engine offers a multi-linear interface, making it easy for users to set their own parameters and draw inspiration for greater knowledge acquisition.
With access to seven million datasets on scholarly articles, Q-Sensei offers users greater accuracy and efficiency during their search by dynamically generating suggestions for search
terms relevant to the current stage of the search. The Q-Sensei Engine also allows users to “search within search suggestions” providing them with a much higher degree of freedom than any other search engine.
The Q-Sensei Engine connects various categories -- or “dimensions” -- of search suggestions such as author, keyword, publisher, language, and year of publication, allowing for multi-dimensional browsing. By combining or removing search suggestions, users can conveniently adjust their search spectrum and better discover literature they otherwise might have missed.
“Q-Sensei provides seekers with a unique way to interact with its search system and knowledge pool,” says Ute Rother, CEO of Q-Sensei. “Popular search engines still offer only very generalized, one-dimensional searches. Users are challenged to review this growing mass of information on their own. Using our Q-Sensei enhanced services, knowledge seekers can achieve precise search results that are relevant to them personally.”
Once users have found the desired results, they have the ability to access more information on each search result, and see where it has been cited, visit the publisher’s website, find Wikipedia articles that are related etc. Also, related subjects or items in the database are displayed which might then become the starting point for a new search.
Further, users are able to enrich or amend all data and suggest relevant websites to be added in a Wikipedia-type manner. This can be the author’s websites, articles that cite the article etc.
These attributes are invaluable for anyone wanting to optimize the power of knowledge.
