Over 400 Business and Government Leaders Welcome RagingWire to Virginia's Technology Corridor and Fiber Alley

Governor Bob McDonnell attended the event and cut the ribbon welcoming RagingWire to Virginia and recognizing the company's significant achievements in designing, building, and operating world-class data centers.

The event was attended by over 400 business and government leaders. From the Commonwealth of Virginia: Secretary of Technology Jim Duffey, Assistant Secretary of Commerce & Trade Jimmy Rhee, Delegate Tom Rust, State Senator Mark Herring, and Virginia Economic Development Partnership President and CEO, Martin Briley all participated in the event.

Loudoun County, which was instrumental in RagingWire's decision to build the , provided significant support to the event. From the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors attendees were: Vice Chairman Janet Clarke (Blue Ridge Supervisor), Supervisor Suzanne Volpe (Algonkian District), Supervisor Ralph Buona (Ashburn District), Supervisor Shawn Williams (Broad Run District), Supervisor Geary Higgins (Catoctin District), Supervisor Matthew Letourneau (Dulles District), and Supervisor Kenneth Reid (Leesburg District). Also from Loudoun County were: Administrator Tim Hemstreet, Clerk of the Circuit Court Gary M. Clemens, Commissioner of the Revenue Robert S. Wertz, Jr., Director of the Department of Economic Development Thomas Flynn and Assistant Director Buddy Rizer, Sheriff Michael Chapman, and Treasurer Roger Zurn.
