2012 Work Program Commences on Habanero's Grand-Vallee North Aluminous Clay Prospect in Gaspe Bay, Quebec
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/01/12 -- Habanero Resources Inc. ("Habanero", "HAO" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: HAO) (PINKSHEETS: HBNRF) (FRANKFURT: HRJ) wishes to announce that exploration crews have now been mobilized to Habanero's Grand-Vallee North Prospect. The first phase will consist of geological mapping and a property wide soil geochemical survey. Habanero has significantly increased its acreage on this prospect since the last phase of sampling was completed. This current phase of operations will enable Habanero to determine the extent of the prospective targets within the entire property, and to establish the highest priority drill targets with drilling to follow. 9 samples collected during the last phase of operation returned values ranging from 18.93% to 22.99% Al2O3. (March 1, 2012).

This prospect is our highest priority prospect for 2012 and the board is optimistic about the potential this prospect may have on future corporate growth. During the last phase of operations Habanero encountered encouraging samples of up to 22.99% Al2O3.on our Grand-Vallee North Prospect. When you consider that we now that we have significantly increased the size of our project and that Orbite use an 18% Al2O3. cut-off grade for its deposit, it is an exciting time for Habanero as we develop this prospect further."
Work on Grand-Vallee North Prospect is supervised by Kristopher J. Raffle, P.Geo. (BC) Senior Geologist for APEX Geoscience Ltd. of Edmonton, AB, who is the qualified person for the project as defined by National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Raffle has reviewed the portion of the technical content of this news release as it relates to the Grand-Vallee North Prospect.
Habanero is a diversified junior company with the following prospects: the White Gold Prospect in the White Gold Region Yukon, bordering Kinross' Golden Saddle discovery; the Haldane Silver Prospect in the Keno Hill Silver Region of the Yukon bordering Alexco Resources Corp.'s Bellekeno property; the Lezai Multi-Element Prospect comprising of approximately 55,100 contiguous acres in Quebec; and the Grande-Vallee North Aluminous Clay Prospect consisting of approximately 7,400 hectares (18,285 acres) near Murdochville Quebec, bordering Orbite Aluminae Inc.'s deposit.
