Ecometals Announces New Director Appointment
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/01/12 -- Ecometals Limited (TSX VENTURE: EC)(BERLIN: GDQ)(FRANKFURT: GDQ) (the "Company") announces that effective August 1st, 2012, the board of directors has appointed Mr. Jeffrey Klein to the Board of the Company.
Mr. Jeffrey Klein has almost 30 years of experience in the base and precious metals markets. His industry experience includes Merrill Lynch, where he was a director in the capital markets division in New York, and Rothschild, where as a director based in New York, he was responsible for the bank's commodities marketing in North and South America. He is the managing partner of North Ridge Capital, LLC, a private equity investor he founded.
Mr. William Lamarque, Ecometal's CEO stated that "as one of the larger investors in Ecometals, Mr. Klein's appointment to the Board represents our intent to more closely align the interests of our shareholders with the strategic plans of the Company."
