BGI EcoTech AG to be renamed Ralos New Energies AG
- 'Ralos New Energies AG' recorded in German Commercial Register
- Forges a stronger link to the renewable energy sector
Griesheim, 23 February 2010: BGI EcoTech AG, which is active in the sector
of renewable energies (particularly photovoltaics) has been renamed Ralos
New Energies AG.
During a vote at the extraordinary shareholders' meeting on 14 January
2010, it was also agreed to change the company name from BGI EcoTech AG to
Ralos New Energies AG. The name change has become official with the entry
of the new name in the Commercial Register as at 22 February.
'The new name 'Ralos New Energies AG' will more strongly emphasise the
company's focus on the international renewable energy market than the old
name did, while including the established 'Ralos' brand. We've already
received multiple positive responses to the new name as we've worked on our
current project pipeline of over 140 MWp,' says Albert Klein, Spokesman of
the Board of Directors for Ralos New Energies AG.
