Hoehr-Grenzhausen and Rottweil, 24th February 2010:
On the strength of a most successful 15-year co-operation, IBS AG and
SteinhilberSchwehr AG have now decided to intensify their partnership.
SteinhilberSchwehr, a provider of 'Computer-Komplett' (complete computer
package) IT services for mid-market manufacturing and trading companies,
finalised its takeover of the Bochum-based CAD/PLM provider ASCAD on 1st
January 2010, holding a 100% share in the company. Consequently,
SteinhilberSchwehr is now one of the largest IT systems houses for
mid-market companies in the German-speaking area.
As SteinhilberSchwehr already provides IBS software solution support for
over 100 customers, primarily in southern Germany, a joint development of
existing SteinhilberSchwehr&ASCAD customers is now in the pipeline.
This will enable SteinhilberSchwehr to offer its customers, in particular
those from the manufacturing industry, a complete product portfolio
containing, in addition to ERP and PLM, the fully-integrated IBS MES suite,
as a strategic solution for production and quality management, as well as
for traceability.

joint customers stand to profit from the practicability of the solution,
which has developed a unique level of integration and functional depth
thanks to a vast number of installations in a wide range of manufacturing
industries', says SteinhilberSchwehr AG Board of Management Member Harald
Scheuls, commenting on the further development of the partnership. 'Above

services for their complete IT landscapes, whether that be in the form of
applications, infrastructure or hardware, and they acknowledge their utmost
satisfaction time and time again'.
Volker Schwickert, Director of Sales and Marketing at IBS AG, identifies
the key benefits of the partnership as lying in SteinhilberSchwehr's strong
mid-market penetration: 'SteinhilberSchwehr customers are predominantly
mid-market players from a variety of manufacturing industries. IBS AG has
already implemented Best Practice solutions in a vast number of mid-market
companies. These would be easy to implement at further, existing
SteinhilberSchwehr customers and would bring rapid results for the
companies in question'.
