AMG SCHEDULE FOR SECOND QUARTER 2012 EARNINGS RELEASE
Amsterdam, 2 August 2012 --- AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. ("AMG",
EURONEXT AMSTERDAM: "AMG") will release its second quarter 2012 financial
results on Thursday, 9 August 2012 at approximately 07:00 CET. AMG will host a
conference call to discuss its financial results for second quarter 2012 on same
day at 13:30 CET (12:30 GMT / 07:30 EDT).

Graphit Kropfmühl AG is a majority owned, publicly listed subsidiary of AMG.

Kropfmühl is a specialist in the production of silicon metal and the extraction,
processing and refining of natural crystalline graphite for a wide range of
energy saving industrial applications.
