IKB returns further SoFFin guarantees early
[Düsseldorf, 2 August 2012] IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG has returned
further SoFFin guarantees in the amount of EUR 250 million ahead of
schedule due to its excess liquidity. The amount returned relates to the
bond ISIN DE000A0SMPA3 (scheduled to mature on 2 February 2015, FRN 3-month
Euribor).
Following today's repayment, IKB's current SoFFin guarantees amount to EUR
4.0 billion. EUR 2.0 billion of this mature on 10 September 2012. The
maximum guarantee framework had been EUR 12 billion. EUR 10 billion of this
had been utilised.
The maturity structure of the outstanding bonds issued under the SoFFin
guarantees is as follows as at 2 August 2012:
- EUR 2.0 billion maturing on 10 September 2012
- EUR 0.75 billion maturing on 1 February 2013
- EUR 1.25 billion maturing on 2 February 2015.
