New York State Weatherization Directors Association Signs With BidSync for Efficient e-Procurement and Bid Management

"The vendors we work with were required to hand write or type the bids, then we would have to enter their information into the computer and then verify the products and specifications, generate the reports, format the reports then distribute them to our agencies. By using BidSync's online system, we save at least two weeks of work depending on the bid. It is much more efficient and easy to work with vendors and we save even more time and money because we don't lose a week in the mail because everything is online."
Prior to selecting BidSync, the team conducted a comprehensive research and justification phase. They compared different solutions in a report on how they would benefit the association and the entire network. "We work off of grant money and we have to report on our work plan with how we are spending our money and make sure it is justified," Smith said. "There were some solutions that were much higher priced than BidSync and one competitor that had a similar price, but ultimately we went with BidSync because the functionality it provided far outpaced everything else."
