Biogas Nord AG: enters the Slovak Republic - 2 projects of 1 MW each!

Bielefeld, 07th of August 2012. BIOGAS NORD AG, the leading provider of
innovative and customized biogas plants, has entered into a contract for
the construction of its first two biogas projects in the Slovak Republic.
The construction of the two biogas plants, with an electrical power of 1 MW
each, has begun in July 2012. The plants, which are located in the Southern
part of the Slovak Republic, will produce electricity and heat which will
be used to dry the digestate and sell it as pellets to be burnt in the
furnaces of major heat users in the region. Maize, grass-silage and sorghum
will be used as the main substrates.
The plants are expected to be connected to the grid by December 2012. With
the entry into the Slovak Republic, BIOGAS NORD AG is now present in 16
countries worldwide. BIOGAS NORD is currently building simultaneously
biogas projects in 8 different countries. The construction works are
executed by local subcontractors and monitored by BIOGAS NORD's project and
construction managers.
Petr Marek, BIOGAS NORD AG's Country Manager for the Slovak Republic,
