Whiteknight Acquisitions II Inc. Announces Termination of Letter of Intent to Complete a Qualifying Transaction With Astrix Networks Inc.
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 08/07/12 -- Whiteknight Acquisitions II Inc. ("Whiteknight") (TSX VENTURE: WKN.P), a Capital Pool Company, wishes to announce that it has terminated its previously announced letter of intent with Astrix Networks Inc. dated June 11, 2012 to complete a business combination intended to constitute the Qualifying Transaction of Whiteknight, as such term is defined in Policy 2.4 of the Corporate Finance Manual of the TSX Venture Exchange. The transaction has been terminated with no further obligation on either party, and no funds were advanced by Whiteknight to the target.
Whiteknight will continue to aggressively identify and evaluate opportunities for the purpose of completing its Qualifying Transaction. Trading of Whiteknight's common shares is expected to resume trading on the TSX Venture Exchange shortly.
