Patented Snap-In Design Simplifies Installation Without Sacrificing Effectiveness

The panels' patented, one-of-a-kind "Hook-Swing-Snap" design enables effortless installation and removal without tools, providing data center operators with improved flexibility in server rack maintenance. Installation consists simply of sliding a panel's pivot pins into a rack's mounting rail holes and snapping slide tabs at the opposite side of the panel into the opposing rail. A gasket on the panel seals against the vertical rail, preventing leakage of hot exhaust air.
"The primary reason data center operators cite for failing to install blanking panels is the hassle of installation," said President Cary Frame. "This new design makes blanking panel installation quick and easy, and gives racks a clean and professional appearance."
PolarSnap™ blanking panels are available now in 1U, 2U, 3U, 4U, 5U and 6U sizes and are packaged in boxes of ten.
