Mandatory notification of trade in SpareBank 1 SMN's issues

The attached list gives an overview of purchases and sales of subscription
rights and subscriptions of new equity certificates carried out by primary
insiders of the SpareBank 1 Group and the primary insiders' related parties in
connection with the rights offering and the employee offering.
The sales and purchases of subscription rights and the subscriptions for new
equity certificates included in the list were conducted 11 March 2010. Equity
certificates were subscribed according to subscription rights, and/or in the
employee offering. The subscription period is from 11 March 2010 to 25 March
2010. The subscription price in the rights offering and the employee offering is
NOK 33 per new equity certificate.
New equity certificates will be allocated on or about 31 March 2010.
