Office Depot, Angry Birds, Zappos.com Lead New Retail Partners Utilizing Award-Winning Facebook Friend-to-Friend Marketing Service for Giving Free Gift Cards

Backed by the co-founders of Skype and LinkedIn, Wrapp makes it fun and easy to give, receive and redeem using mobile devices or the Web, and allows Facebook friends to contribute to the presents.
New retailers on board for back-to-school shopping represent a cross section of top brands, including Office Depot, Rovio's Angry Birds online shop, Zappos.com and Roots.
In addition, many of Wrapp's existing U.S. retail partners, which now include Gap, Sephora, adidas, MLB.com, Brooklyn Industries, The Wall Street Journal, Fab, Warby Parker, Omaha Steaks, Threadless, WeSC, Wayfair and Spa Finder, are also scheduled to make special free gift card offers available during the back-to-school shopping season.

Back-to-school spending for kids aged 6 to 17 is expected to total $30.3 billion this year. When college students are included, that number is projected to hit $83.8 billion, according to the survey of 8,509 consumers conducted last month by BIGinsight for the NRF.
Wrapp introduced its unique platform in Sweden in November 2011 and since then has taken its service to the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Finland, Norway, and Australia.
Based in Stockholm and San Francisco, Wrapp was founded last year by a team of well-known serial entrepreneurs with extensive backgrounds in online and offline business, including digital music service Spotify, mobile VoIP provider Rebtel and global fashion giant H&M.
