(firmenpresse) - PHOENIX, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 08/15/12 -- Hunt Construction Group, Inc. is proud to announce that Robert Hart has assumed the role of Executive Vice President & Division Manager for the West. Hart has transitioned into his new role under the guidance of Michael J. Gausden.

After 30 years of loyal service and support, Gausden has decided to make 2012 the year of his retirement. As a leader, Gausden has been instrumental in the growth of Hunt's West Division. "Mike has never failed to step up to the plate and deliver as a member of the Hunt family. He has always looked out for the company, the community and our clients. For that, I speak on behalf of Hunt in saying we will be eternally grateful," stated Robert G. Hunt, Chairman and CEO. While Gausden has completely turned over the reins to Hart, he will continue to serve Hunt by providing his operational expertise on various projects for the remainder of 2012.

Hart built his career in the construction industry as a member of the Hunt family. He joined Hunt in 1988 as a field engineer. He quickly advanced his career by taking on roles as a project engineer, project manager, construction manager, contract manager, and most recently, vice president. As vice president, Hart was accountable for client satisfaction on all projects under his control as well as ensuring profitability, proper staffing and management. In addition, he was heavily involved in the pursuit of new business and client relationships.

Hart has nationwide experience with large-scale projects such as Safeco Field in Seattle, WA and the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, UT. Over the years, Hart's involvement in the Arizona marketplace has helped to shape the West Division with landmark projects such as One and Two Arizona Center, St. Joseph's Hospital McAuley Medical Center and various infrastructure related work. While taking on his new role, Hart will continue to provide his wealth of experience to the Chicago Cubs Spring Training Facility in Mesa, AZ that is currently under construction.
