(firmenpresse) - You yourself propose the royalty fee for the image. This option is now available to the clients of the Munich stock photo agency, alimdi.net, when they select the images they want from the image service from the online shop. The link for this is to be found in the preview window of the image in the tab “Prices and Licenses“.
Through this new function, “Send proposed use and price offer“, and the client can state how the images or illustrations are going to be used; naturally here the intended license type and usage must be stated. After sending the price proposal the client immediately (during business hours) receives a response from the agency if the agreed conditions are acceptable.
“Whoever wants to avoid price negotiations by mail or telephone also has the possibility to use the images under very favourable conditions, Thomas Müller, the owner of the image agency, describes the service. The new pricing procedure is available immediately to all clients registered in the online shop which whom no general fixed price agreements have been reached. In principle the client can propose prices for both RM and RF images; in the case of RF images, however, the price is only negotiable when these are licensed for single use (Rights Managed).
