BMO Bank of Montreal Opens New Branch in Fort McMurray-Open Seven Days a Week
- BMO's second branch in Fort McMurray represents a $2.2 million investment in the community - BMO offers customers extended banking hours, including weekends - 'Making Money Make Sense' in four different languages
(firmenpresse) - FORT MCMURRAY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/20/12 -- BMO Bank of Montreal today announced the opening of its new full-service banking branch in Fort McMurray. The new Timberlea Landing branch is located at 289 Powder Drive in a growing community of residential and commercial development.
The new branch offers customers extended banking hours seven days a week and is designed to provide a great banking experience through a variety of financial services and conveniences, including:

"Given the number of young families and new homeowners in the community, there is an increased need for financial advisers and services in the area. BMO encourages new and existing members of the community to come in and speak with our trained professionals about their personal finance requirements."
Mr. Ahmed added that the extended hours at the new branch make it easier for customers to come in and speak with BMO's team about all of their financial needs.
"Alberta's economy significantly outperformed the national average in 2011, as rising oil production fuelled 5.2 per cent real GDP growth," said Robert Kavcic, Economist, BMO Capital Markets. "Alberta should remain atop the leaderboard this year, with growth running more than a full percentage point above the national average at 3.2 per cent."
In celebration of the branch opening, customers who open a new Primary Chequing Account with a Performance Plan, between August 20 and September 30, will have $150 deposited into their new account at Timberlea Landing.
