ViaWest Announces the Acquisition of CoreLink's Las Vegas Data Center

The acquisition will expand the ViaWest footprint in downtown Las Vegas
The acquisition follows the announcement of ViaWest's 110,000 square foot facility in North Las Vegas
, one of the largest privately held data center, cloud computing and managed service providers in North America, announces the acquisition of the Las Vegas data center of CoreLink Data Centers LLC, a data center and managed services provider headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. The acquisition will double ViaWest's total current capacity in downtown Las Vegas.

The acquisition represents ViaWest's latest effort to expand its presence in the Las Vegas market. In May, the company announced its intent to develop a 110,000 square foot facility in North Las Vegas, adding to its data center footprint. The North Las Vegas facility will be one of the greenest data centers in the United States, incorporating the latest in ViaWest's cooling technology, custom designed for the Las Vegas climate. Upon completion, ViaWest will offer more than 460,000 square feet of raised floor data center space across 24 data centers throughout Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, and Utah.
