Mike McClaskey Recognized for Outstanding Leadership and IT Guidance

Prior to joining DISH in 2007, McClaskey was employed by Perot Systems for twelve years, where he worked as the vice president and CIO in charge of internal IT operations. His responsibilities at Perot Systems included establishing business operations in India, Mexico and Romania.
McClaskey's current challenge at DISH is focused around the journey that DISH is currently undertaking to transform their company from a basic satellite TV provider into a multi-play, nationwide provider. This new goal has required vast changes to be made to the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring that it both supports and enables the business strategy. Specifically, McClaskey has been focused on establishing and managing the DISH Business Transformation program, which contains components spanning the major business systems for all of DISH.
