Ward Homes Donates Summer House
(firmenpresse) - LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 08/21/12 -- Following the fundraising efforts of , children at Sittingbourne's Kaleidoscope Therapeutic Child Care Foster Agency are now enjoying the delights of a Summer House.
The summer house which officially opened on 8th June stands at 12ft by 8ft and has windows and double doors which open at the front. Individually created and donated signs adorn the outside of the house, which includes a jungle themed room as well as those comprising the names of sponsors. Additional seating for the children is provided through two donated benches.
New homebuilder Ward Homes is used to developing for first time home buyers and those looking for the next step on the property ladder, but in this case has turned their considerable knowledge and expertise to create the ideal summer house.
Liam Gilchriest, Ward Homes' Bromley Site Manager commented: "Both myself and Ward Homes feel it's really important to support young people locally in Kent. Foster Fortnight has been a recent national initiative and we wanted to give to those children who have had a particularly bad start in life.
"Kaleidoscope is an important Therapeutic foster centre as it offers children and young people who have found themselves unable to cope with regular fostering a family home within a therapeutic environment."
