STMicroelectronics Publishes its 2012 Half-Year Financial Report


Geneva, August 21, 2012 - STMicroelectronics (NYSE: STM) announced today that it
has published its 2012 Half-Year Financial Report for the six-month period ended
June 30, 2012 incorporating unaudited interim financial statements prepared in
accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
